Need some Heat shield ideas for muffler

Um.. the galvanized idea is a BIG no no.... You can't heat/weld it because it releases a harmful gas, also cutting it with a heat producing tool (plasma/cutting wheel ect...), but use it under your own risk. :-X EDIT: You will get zinc and/or lead poisoning.....

    Tcase-driveshaft trouble...

Well this is what i found out.... the U joints are fine but worn, (front) and the CV joint in the front is shot and the driveshaft wont retract/extend and that might be the binding issue so ima unseize both driveshafts degrease the outside and clean them, new U joints and CV joints for both...

    Tcase-driveshaft trouble...

Looks new inside. I have an idea that might work, Ima pull off the output jokes and check for play in them since the output seal for the front is leaking... i think the yokes being loose could cause premature wear of the seal and case a binding issue that is making the noise, I HOPE!!!

    Tcase-driveshaft trouble...

Well it makes the noise only when there is a load on the drivetrain accel, decel, as far as breaking an axle that was a long time ago, and its not just the rear end since i took the rear driveshaft off, Ive had 2 diff 3rd members in it so far, the first one was damaged prior to install and it...

    Tcase-driveshaft trouble...

Well i changed out all the drivetrain mounts hopein that was the issue of the "clunking/rattling" noise thinkin it was a binding problem... Well it still does it, and i took the rear driveshaft off even tho i got a twin stick and drove it in front 2hi/lo puttin a series of diff loads on it...

That tear drop looks tiny as hell.... the summit one measures 36.25" long By 24" wide, im sure a larger one that is the same width as the hood "raise" will look alot better, EDIT: I measured it up on my stock hood from the front of the raise, the scoop will go all the way back to the sprayers...

    Horrible Shudder

I have a new LUK clutch in mine and it used to do that, Check your U joints, Output on the T case (for twist play) and make sure your U bolts are tight. Try letting on/off the throttle in first, If it jerks hard/late in between decel and accel then it could be the mounts/U joints...

    Leaky rear housing...

Well my housing is garbage... I broke an axle a while back and had to limp it home for a few miles, in doing so the tire had a terrible wobble (i could idle in 2nd at the most) do i think the end is toast since it wont hold gear lube no matter how many seals i put in, so... i just welded the...
