    Hood Scoops

My email is c2computer@yahoo.com<br><br>Yeah, you will need to add some bars to strengthen it. Once I did that it was fine. Just send me an email and I will take some photos.

    Hood Scoops

I just put one on mine. Wild Horses and Chuck's I think are the same. I had to reinforce mine with some metal so it was not so flimsy. I taped mine to the hood with the 3M OEM stuff they use to put body moldings on with. So far so good. That stuff is so strong you only get one shot at...

    Gears

Yeah I was thinking of keeping my C4 ( I just rebuilt it), put 4.56 in the diffs, the Rock Eaters in the Trans case (4.86) and that would give me the ratios above. Does anyone run these Rock Eaters? I would sure love to see them in action before I paid for them. But it sure seams easy, no...

    Gears

How about those Tera Low gears or Chuck's RockEater gears? According to my calculations, I would get a crawl ratio of 42.44 with the 3.55 gears and 54.51 with the 4.56 gears and the Rockeater gears. To me this sounds good because I get the driveability on the street and highway and I get the...

    Gears

Thanks for the info, I appreciate the time you put into it. I drive it to the trail but I don't think I have ever gone over 65-70 mph in it. I don't trust the steering enough and I like to be easy on it. As far as the 26 to 1 craw ratio, is that decent, suck or a lot better than what I have...

    Q-jet

Sorry I forgot to mention I have an Edelbrock manifold. Yeah, the stock ones are just that much lower you can get away with it. But I still like my scoop and the fresh air that comes into the engine. I run 180 on the freeway and never over 200/205 on the trail now.

    Gears

I think I am going to go with 4.56 with the 33's now and if I get 35's someday it will still be alright. I figure get that done, then I can always get some gears for the transfer case someday to get the crawl ratio better.<br><br>Anyone running those tera low gears? they didn't seem to add a...

    Q-jet

I had to cut the hood on mine. No body lift, used a drop base air cleaner from Edelbrock, 3" element. <br><br>The adapter pushed it over for me, some people don't have to cut but not sure how they pulled that one off. I like my scoop anyway and it helps cool the truck. Win, win.<br><br>I can...

    Gears

Yeah that is a little high. I am not enterning a rock crawling competition, just want to crawl more and stop running down the hill locking up the brakes trying to stop because I have no gears... :D :D :D<br><br>I just can't hack a new tranny, just had this one rebuilt.

    Gears

Well I drive it in town here and there but I want the low crawling speed and dowhill more. Is there a best of both worlds? With 4.56 is freeway driving crap?<br><br>Here is the chart, it looks they moved it...<br><br>http://www.intercotire.com/html/table.htm

    Gears

I am sure this has been posted many time but I thought I would ask. <br><br>Running 33's or 35's (future, have 33's now). I have 3.53 gears now. When I go down hill in 4 low, 1st gear, it is like a roller coaster. Would you go with 4.10 gears and still be able to do 60 or 65 on...

    Security System

I remember starting that old post, it went on forever. I use a Grant wheel remover and turn the gas tank selector up and if I am really anal remove it. Hard to drive with no wheel and no gas.

BC Lift vs James Duff Lift

If you get the Super hoops you need to either cut your wheel wells or get a body lify. The system F/G (I think) you don't need a body lift, I have it on mine. I think it works great.

    Q-jet

I just got back from my initial test of the Q jet this weekend in the desert. I used to have a Edelbrock 1405 on the Bronco. I think I only stalled 2 times the whole weekend when I got stuck in a tough spot and my truck was getting hot... I think it was vapor lock. But it was night and and...

Does a person really need dual shocks?

I run 4 RS9000's in the front and Duff in the rear and my ride is great. Without the duals in the front the sway is even worse at high speeds.

James Duff Smooth Rocker Guards w/ Tubes

Yeah I have the BC Bronco skiis now at home in the living room. I don't like the 2 piece either, but the tubes are welded on. They are thin too. <br><br>How was the installation for the skiis? I guess I have to drop my tank to do it? Those little screws hold them on ok?

James Duff Smooth Rocker Guards w/ Tubes

Has anyone purchased these? What is up with the two piece design? How is the installation? How do they compare to BC's Rock Ski's?<br><br>Thanks<br><br> :P
