I get mine about a week later than everyone else, I am in So Cal.

I have a 1405, with the off road kit. Still sucked. Adjusted the floats, idle, etc but still stalled. I bought the kit with the extra jets and rods. Never put them in because I ended up getting a Q jet. I am headed to Truckhaven Hills this weekend to test the Q jet. We shall see what...

The 9000's are nice because you can adjust them. I think it makes a difference.

I run a drop base with a 3" K&N. I put a qjet on and had to cut the hood and put a bubble on it since it did not fit. I don't know what everyone else does but with a Q jet it was out of room

I have the 3.5" lift, 33's, no problem fitting. I have never cut my fenders, not sure if someone cut them before though. They don't look cut but maybe I am not seeing it. The metal is smooth and like new.

I run them with the 3.5" lift I got from them. No complaints...

I think I'll put the 50w in it now, see how it works. I just want to get some new oil in there since I don't know when/if it was changed from the previous owner. Thanks.

So stick with the 85/90 gear oil? I appreicate the help.

So SAE 50 is ok to put in or is there something better?

I ordered a few times, no real problems but very slow to get to California and $$. The shipping is way too high. When I call I feel like I am a burden or something, they never seem to happy to take my order, thought it was the other way around.

I have mine hooked up from the distributor to the ported on the carb. I belive this is so you don't run your dist too advanced when you are idling, am I right?

You need to get a sticker like I have... "It's not just a Jeep thing and I do understand" on the back window. I also have a leakster pissing on a jeep from BC Broncos. I don't get any more "Nice Jeep" comments now.

I have the Duff hoops and Rancho 9000's in the front. I don;t think the ride is stiff. PLus you can adjust the 9000's to your liking. Just think down the road of what you want to do... extended radius arms, body lifts, etc.

Oh yeah, by the way I am 4.5 turns out on the IMS on the Q jet. The builder and I tuned it on the phone the other day. The idle is 1000 while it is warming up, dropping to 800 when warm.
