Trying to set pre load on upper ball joint adjuster sleeve to required 40lbs. Sleeve screws out the bottom of knuckle til spanner socket bottoms out on ball joint stud. Anybody ever run into this issue before? Thanks

I just went through this myself. Get a test light, and start at the steering column plug. Check the yellow/black wire. I found the connection bad at column plug, cut it out and respliced. You can also check the plug under hood where rear harness plugs into main harness on drivers side. Also...

When I finished the frame off resto on my '68 about a dozen years ago I drove it over to the local Ford dealer. One of the owners sons came out and gave it a look over. He told me "when the EB's were in production, they couldn't hardly give those things away. Now everybody wants one".

Nice! It looks like your doing this upgrade before you crack the frame. I know a few of us that waited until after to plate the frame.

In my trail rig I'm running a '96 Explorer 5.0 w/GT40 heads and a propane set-up, which uses a 4v Holley base. Also an MSD ready to run distributor. It works great!

I mounted mine under side of tub under drivers seat

seal the bottom bolt with black or red rtv. fill it till it runs out the fill hole

I had the same issue on the last 2 sets I bought. They are wired wrong. Should be dim with parking/headlights on, bright for turn signal. With the cover off, push the wires forward through the socket. Rotate 180 degrees then pull back in socket. Rotating the contacts should fix your issue.

Got my 4 JB brackets welded up and painted yesterday. Mounted 2 on the EB trail rig. If I get anymore, I would plug weld from the back of the brackets to give them a cleaner look.

I have the same problem. It's always been the lower radiator hose at the water pump that leaks.

I looked at your build. With the stock radius arms there room. The duff arms mount to frame where atlas is.

I'm running 37's w/3.5" lift. I'm afraid I may be hanging up w/skidplate. I've got plenty of rock rash on the bottom of duff arms. Trying to keep skidplate design above the arms
