    9 bolts is correct. If you just want stock, I have extras for most but chronically run short on the 3 1/4" bolts. for those, I have grade 8 hex head bolts I can offer. let me know if interested...

    Why should I convert to EFI

    I did mine for off road performance. Sand dunes have lots of whoop de doos and off camber stuff. carb would always bog or lean out at most inopportune time... That and fuel injection is sexy... lol

    Its actually a mixed bag. some bolts are metric and some U.S. Any bolts that attach to the block or heads are US. So, bracket bolts, timing cover bolts are 5/16 & 7/16... The bolts that attach the pullies, tensioner, power steering pump and reservoir are all metric... I'm finishing up...

    No, please don't. Calipers need to float or move when brakes are applied. hard lines will probably fatigue and fail after a short while.

    From what I have seen, the metal fans were on the earlier explorers (96-98?) and plastic was on the later ones. Could be wrong but that is my recollection...
