    Power Steering fluid cooling options

    I'd rather have a low pressure leak than a high pressure one... Also low pressure hose connection is a band clamp, simpler and cheaper than high pressure connection. Good thought to run a cooler though. Can't hurt to dump a little heat...

    What Paul said... I would check the height of the outlet on the reservoir and make sure it is higher than the inlet on the pump...

    EFI Considerations?

    I recommend the EDIS system that is found on 96-01 Explorer 5.0 engines. I'm guessing it is going to be much more reliable than aftermarket stuff. Get with EFIGUY here on the forums for computer programming and harness rework.

    That is my understanding as well... 74/75 Bronco had the Torino style rear.

    Steve, if it is the style bearing I'm thinking of, they are sealed and don't get any lube from the rear end.

    Sand is very forgiving if that is where you plan to run. Up until last year I had stock 28 spline small bearing rear behind a nicely warmed over 351W and didn't have any problems. Upgraded to 31 spline big bearing chromoly axles. 35spl just seemed way overkill for me...

    Supposedly, the ethanol content of gas is going up to 15% starting in a few months. I'd think twice about rubber, especially given the higher pressures of fuel injection...

    Had to fix mine exactly this way. Its been a while but I think I used nylock nuts and red locktite.

    try searching "ptfe braided" on Summit. PTFE should stand up to the ethanol crap they put in the gasoline...

    Welcome aboard! Check out how become a contributor ($12/yr) and post away pics. Consider front disc brakes and and hydroboost as one of the best upgrades. also replace all the old rubber (belts, hoses flex brake lines, ect..)
