Since I got such a good deal on the motor I can't justify not spending the money and replacing the lifters. I am still way ahead of the game even with a new cam, lifters and timing chain. Does anyone make a knock-off Crane 2020 grind? I noticed Summit does not make any cams for roller motors.

Lars, thanks I can always count on you to provide excellent well thought out advice. Do you have problems with your computer and the 2030? While I am replacing the cam I will be replacing the timing chain, do you suggest new lifters as well?

Check Ebay there is one for sale right now in the $500 range from LKQ. It is complete and looks like it might have the front brackets. I put the link in the parts for sale section below a couple of days ago.

Ebronc is a mad man. The tech article refernced above convinced me that the 2wd ZF option is way too involved for me unless someone comes up with some adapters.
