wow, does solder really cause a weak spot. I always thought solder was a better connection since is can not vibrate loose. also, isn't crimping onto the wire fatiguing the strands more than soldering would?

If you loosen the bottom retainer, you should be able to spin the spring into the corect postion.

I just did the ball joints on my rig and noticed that the lower joints where not long enough to have the retainer ring on them. Anyone else seem to notice this?

Put a test light on your ignition and make sure it is powered while cranking. Starting while letting off the key could be from the ignition being power with a accesory instead of an ignition source. Acc= hot with key on, but no juice while cranking Ign= hot with key on and also while cranking

Just got my full 3550 kit w/ trans from high impact. The trans came in like two days throigh freight. Eveything else was drop shiped from AA. I'll be doing the install soon, just in the middle of a frame off. I'll post pics.
