    Blown Bronco

    The shop down the street from my house is building an approximately 550hp blown 454 :o %) for a customer who is going to put it in an EB with 40" toyos on 22" rims and about 14" of lift %) I will try to get pics of it before he drives it since I doubt he will drive it more than once;)

    Internal Beadlocks

    I think most of the problems were with the "second air" internal beadlocks the Stauns are suposed to have solved the problem. I dont have any first hand experience with these, but I realy like the concept.

    X 2 on the STAUNs I am planning to go that route as soon as I can save the $$ since they lock both beads and also work as a run flat. I also like that they are basicaly invisable.

    The More you cut off the less there is to dent;D I made sure to buy one that already had some rust and dents so I wouldent feel so bad about what I did to it.

    Projp When you moved the leafs back did you just cut of the brackets and move them back? Do you have any pics of it on leafs ? I am thinking about doing this at the same time as a shackle flip.

    31 spline sm bearing axle shafts?

    I have 31 spline Yukon shafts in a medium bearing housing (74) with 35s and locker they are holding up great so far. These also use a conversion berring. I cant remember who I ordered them through, but thy had small bearing as well.

    I dont think you'll see any performance gain from Synthetic oil unless you run at red line rpm's all the time. If your engine has a carb I'd stay with standard oil or semi synthetic cheaper than full and change at 3000 miles or so. If you have a EFI engine than Full synthetic may be a good...

    Welding up holes ?

    If you use the floor jack or some thing like it to support from the bottom you can give the weld a couple of good wacks with a hammer while it is still a little red this eliminates some of the shrinkage and warpage.
