the custom made stainless steel fuel tank was picked from St. Cloud today. What a great job that Wesley, Robert and crew did on the fuel tank. Will try to have photos tomorrow.

I would suggest to degrease before you blast or wire wheel.

back when the Bronco was developed the big block six banger for Ford was the 240. which would have made a wonderful power plant instead of the tiny 170.

sounds like to me that you need to know what type of welders that was used 30 to 40 years ago. this was the beginning of the robot welding and for your informatin it was not capeable of ''stitch welding''.do i have to agree with evert dumb a$$ on these thread???????????????get a grip

what do you expect? these welds were made 30 to 40 years ago and for the most part, the welds are still holding the frames together. get a grip.

the year was 1970 i was stationed at da nang south vietnam. was assigned a u13 as my mode of transportation, took many trips to the top of monkey mountain to a radar site, also was able to trip down to the beach at south china sea.

if it is the manifold leaking , take it off and get resurfaced and install it with a new gasket. should be good to go
