    Trying out a new flapdisc

Walter, Norton & 3M all make a good high end product with great adhesives. An option to the flap disc's are the old school Norton Norzon F981 or the 3m 982C and run them with a hard back up pad ( depending on your end use ). A 5'' back up is like 15.00 and the dics's run in the 4.50 range.We...

Handling of pitbull rocker bias ply

Yeah they flat spot .. I keep them pretty soft as well. I find that the flat spotting runs out pretty quick and would not be a reason not to buy another set. 4 of my 5 balanced out with weights @ 3-5 oz and the 5th took 20 oz. Yeah 20 is a lot but I have to say that monster mudders in the day...

Handling of pitbull rocker bias ply

I run them on the wagon with TR 17''x8.5 wheels @ 26#. Note in 17'' .... the rig rides, handles better than our 1/2 cab with 35'' radials. The PBR's are not even crazy loud. Over the course of the winter I'm going to switch them to the 1/2 cab and see how they handle on it. The wiggle in the 1/2...

Tool box recommendations? Want one behind rear bench!!!

I really looked at a fixed box and went with plastic individual boxes. Our wagon has the split fold and tumble rear seat. For me the individuals are best as spare parts, tools, recovery are in there own boxes and as the rear is generally tumbled I can have the boxes as far forward as possible so...

    Under-dash leaks!

Passengers side vent is to have a seal off the hood, so what keeps the water out ? On the drivers side does the seal go to the hood or sit on the box? Again the on the drivers side it has a drain tube, and the passengers has none ? I have had no seal on the passengers side so I expect that maybe...

    Whats wrong with this door?

I just did my doors last weekend. Its a 2 man job ... Agree the door needs to be twisted. In my case I had to shim the back of the hinge as well. They are far from perfect but much better. Don't get to carried away with adjustment as a 1/16 '' at the hinge over the length of the door will move...

The Direct Lifts PP8 and P9 list a 77'' last lock height. The Bendpak has the HD7PXN and yes it is a high lift but it runs cables in a cross tie fashion as stiffeners. There HD9XW and HDSTX series have the same 77'' at last lock. Airing down is a option... Our 72 with the hard top just cleared...
