Thanks for voicing your opinion Brian. That's part of what this forum is all about.

My opinion of BCB just happens to go the way of the satisfied customers. I have purchased from them for over 12 years back when they were here in So CA and they have taken care of every issue I have ever had to the point where they made sure I got the product I needed. Sometimes not what I thought I needed, but they gave sound, technical advise as well as good customer service even to the point of meeting me on a run and delivering a part to cover a warranty. Just taking the opportunity to say thanks guys - Chuck in particular.

You got all that from me taking the crew to lunch on Friday once in a while? I have 5 lines and sometimes people still get a busy signal because all are busy. We normally have 2 sales people that stagger lunch and breaks, when line 3 rings Jason or myself or Debbie picks up, same with the other lines. Once in a while people need a little break. But even then there is a message machine. Everyone here also has a e-mail and replies to them. Also we open here in TX at 9 am which is 7 am in CA and we close at 530 pm which is 730 pm on the east coast. Somehow that should allow most people to be able to call before or after work. And there is also CB, it is 1030 pm and I am here still talking EBs.[/QUOTE

Chuck, I don't think you have to defend yourself any longer, you have a bussiness to run and yu know how it goes, you can't make everyone happy no matter how hard you try!!!!!!!!!%)

This whole thing really stinks for me as I was planning my build around many of their parts, and my convictions are telling me to go elsewhere. If I had a sense that they truly cared, I would stand here with a different opinion.

I think they do care Brian, and you should give them another chance. To me you did not come across well initially in this thread, but by your last post and from what others who know you have said, I am beginning to form a different opinion.

I think if you do give them another chance, there is a possibility you may form a different opinion of them as well, and if not you have only confirmed what you previously thought.

I think it would be to your mutual benefit to find the experience I have become accustomed too, and that I hope you both can have, because there are only so many customers and vendors out there, and neither can afford the loss of the other.

I clearly admit that the post was harsh (yet deserved), and it takes a lot for me to arrive at such a place. At this point, it's going to take some time for this to pass me by. It's funny that you used the word "Mutual", as I was chatting with another member on how vendors and customers in a cottage industry, need to have a 50 - 50 balance.. It needs to be mutually beneficial for both to succeed. Maybe they re-think how they communicate with their customers (verbally and electronically), and change for the better, for all. I will forever expect better treatment that I got yesterday, and would demand such on myself if it were my own company.

I think they are very busy and take a tad longer than some vendors but not bad. I've ordered from BC several times and always received parts in a timely manner.

Me too.
I always phone in orders with every vendor and ask for the ship date.
That's the way I do all my EB parts orders. Check out the stuff online then, give them a call with the order. It just seems to work better with small vendors.

"BCB is not known for quick turn around on orders/CC charges/shipping/etc, it's common knowledge. ........" Just figured that out.....my bad!

"we live in an Amazon world where everybody expects 16 confirmation emails within 15 minutes of placing an order online, so it comes down to expections." again, not my issue

"I would never judge a business for hangups...that could be a technical problem with your phone, not theirs, so before you assume anything, why not give the person you're calling the benefit of the doubt." I did, she was rude after the fact.

Bingo, take it from Amazon, Zappos, now thats customer service!

Well, you seem to be the one whining, but thank you for pointing out how inconsistent they are.

about 50-60 posts back you said you were through with this and moving on. just can't put it down, right? what really irritates me about you is that you very quickly had to get on here and label BCB bad, bad, bad without giving them a chance to fix it. do you have any idea about the dangers you could face if a vendor elected to sue you over your taking something simple like this to a public forum?

And just so you know how cool I am too, I hung out at Chucky Cheese back in the seventy's and early eighty's, even rolled a ball down a shoot and into a small hole winning a prize at a Dallas Texas location. This Chuck may not say much but has certainly earned my respect too :-*

If you're so busy that customer service is impacted, perhaps you might consider growing the business to meet the demand? That way customer's such as myself don't have to experience significant delays in receiving your products and zero follow-up to multiple status inquiries.

Probably easier said then done, but know that some percentage of your customer's experience is negatively impacted by your current business operations...

I have read through this whole thread. The only small issue I have with it is the title. It could have been worded better.

I come onto CB.com for everything Bronco related, and that includes member experiences with vendors, whether the experiences are good OR bad.

I have not really had a bad experience yet with a vendor, but if I did I would make it known. If the problem is rectified, to my satisfaction or not, I would let that be known too.

I have not yet dealt with BC broncos, but i do appreciate his wealth of knowledge and experience and his visiting CB.com often to share with us.

I have had great experiences with a couple vendors that went above and beyond in one way or another (Classic City Off Road, Stonecrusher Steering, West Coast Broncos) and I have made those experiences known to others.

Just my 2 pennies. 👍

Although West Coast Broncos doesn't have a lot of parts on their website their customer service is amazing. The first time I ordered something from them (a $20 part), I got a phone call the next day thanking me for the order and offering tech. support and help if I had any questions when I was installing it. The order was shipped promptly and was in my hands on the other side of the country in 3 days. Now THAT is CUSTOMER SERVICE! Only took 1 minute out of his day, but impressed the hell out of me. I use that as a litmus test for a lot of situations. If they were willing to make that much effort over a $20 order it is the baseline for what I expect when I order $100, $500, $1000, or $2500 worth of parts from someone.
