I just pulled the Atlas for something unrelated and found transmission fluid in the housing. Is this normal?

Normal.. The rear bushing should pass some lube. Shouldnt be full, but looks good to me..

X2, that is normal. No dry cavity betweent he boxes. Just a double lip seal. That is the seal that when goes bad you drain the transmission into the transfer case. So I would expect to see trans fluid there.
