The worst part is the square wheel openings... really limits tire size. All said though, should make some of those longer hauls a little easier!

I got a Sawzall, just sayin....

You think it's funny, but you know me and I can't leave well enough alone! I have been researching how to fit bigger tires and the first step is a recip and BFH to massage an area behind the fender liner to create room for bigger tires. Come spring- I will be working on this!

I may catch some grief, but I have a new Duramax puller... 2016 High Country 2500HD...

Oh, come on, Todd, we're not going to judge you because of your daily driver!
Let's face it, Tasker is driving a pink truck , and we didn't give him any crap..................;D

Aw Todd, take it back and get the one that has 4 wheels on the back!!!!%)%)%)
Them young'uns are growing fast!!!;D;D;D

I am lucky I can afford this one... adding a couple more tires gets pretty expensive on the front end and replacing 6 tires instead of four doesnt offer any respite from costs down the road...

On top of that- I wanted the wife to be able to drive it if needed. Dually's are bad enough for drivers who pay attention to their mirrors... the only mirror my wife uses frequently is on the back of the visor.

Good point... its not like I traded my Broncos for a couple of blazers either!

Starting to carve some time out of my schedule to get back into this. I hadn't realized its been 6 months since I have made any real progress... At that time i was frustrated with the wiring (still am somewhat).

After some adjustments to the seat brackets, I have them and the harnesses fully mounted. Wired the TFI distributor (I hope using this wasn't a mistake) and finished the fuel lines. Next step- finish wiring the ignition, install a battery and check wires for continuity and grounds. Hope this doesn't take me 6 months...

On a side note- I am finally getting around to painting the doors for my Green '75... hopefully this month. They have been fighting color match samples for over a month...

Back at it again tonight. Alternator exciter wiring, ignition wiring and a few odds and ends where I can get an hour in. Just for you Ben- some pics as I stand in my garage...

And since I was nearly taken out in an RZR fire late last year, I had to install some fire extinguishers. The CO2 tank will power the ARB in the front axle, run power tools and site up tires as needed. Another leftover from my Dodge Crawler

Looks great Todd. I have to go to Abingdon one day this week to get my door panels redone again. I think we finally have them figured out... anyway, if you need a hand with wiring etc. I would be happy to stop buy and help. Let me know.

I picked up a brand new Optima Yellow Top for $170. Between a sale and some discount the Advance Auto guy applied, I saved $75 off the new battery. I have checked all my wiring and everything tests good...

I hope when I plug the battery into the system, nothing goes fizzle pop... I am disconnecting the fuel injection before I charge the system- recheck everything works and then move on to fuel injection.

Well- no fires as of yet, but some things didn't operate as planned. Wasn't aware the Flex-A-Lite fan set up required a switched ground and not power, so that has to be fixed... fans all work, lights all work!

Thanks for the compliments guys. This bodywork is pretty poor and no where near done, so this thing is really a turd, but I hope to make it sound mechanically and get it out this spring.

I look at you rig and I think "WOW" the time you have spent fabricating, The "fear" you had of wiring. Not to mention how much it must be costing to build this thing and your ability to see this build through till it is on the trail..... Good job man! cant wait to see the videos of you wheeling it!
