7 miles away and it took that long. damn.
wonder if he had to carry it in to them on foot?
glad to see them going again. time to play catch up there big john

watching the tracking on the TT's and those guys are flying. seeing speeds of over 120 mph, that is not on a hwy section either.

class 3 leader about 130 miles in front of them
moss about 100 in front of them, just past ck 1

the ck point will close 24 hrs after 1st car goes through if they still play by the same races as when i raced.

Dam what now? Someone had to pee? lets go, we got a checkpoint to make.
I thought the first checkpoint was 12 hours and all others were 24? But I know nothing about the desert.

301 is just outside mm 65, they are about 15 away from the cp

301 moving but last shown at 23 mph. too bad they wheren't able to make up any time with hardly anyone on that area of the course. dusk is setting in now, good thing they have lights on the truck. class leader about 140 miles in front of them. looks like 302 (the dan wright eb) is still down around bfg pit 1 around mm 85. moss still going about mm170

#301 hasn't moved for a little bit. Maybe 10-15 minutes.

302 done. they are down in a ravine and called to pull teh plug and asked for help to get out. that will be a long night.

301 down with major electrical, called asking for help form chase trucks. they are about mm 100. they got past CP1 so they have that going for them.

Electrical problems at night has to suck. But still better than stuck down in a ravine at night. so if we had started with a stock type bronco and went slow and easy do you think we would be passing them about now? kind of the tortoise and hare thing.
