Checked all the fluids & tire pressure. Filled up rear fuel tank (front not hooked up). Drove 160 miles north to the Daytona International Speedway for the Turkey Rod Run. Drove back the following day. A 320 mile round trip & no tools needed. The old girl made me proud.

Timing adjustments on Thanksgiving with my Uncles and Brother in law. 2 Chevy guys and 1 Ford guy and none of them could agree on anything haha. Running like a champ now but I discovered the kickdown cable is preventing me from going full throttle. Only getting about 2/3 throw on the throttle cable

Engine compartment cleaned up and painted now I’m waiting for new motor from blueprint engines ...

Very nice sir...

On my agenda starting tomorrow, my water pump is getting ready to give up the ghost. I'll be tearing into that shortly. Not an exciting pic, but I knows y'alls like pics, right? :p ;) ;D

Yeah man... Here's some more boring pics for you Dave.

It turns out under closer inspection that my water pump is still hanging in there although it is kinda noisy, always has been. The source of my leak was a lower rad hose clamp. Eazy peazy fix, no cost. ;D

So since I was there I took a few minutes to cleanup some battery corrosion.

Got another care package yesterday and brought it to the barn today to start mulling and pondering about rocker protection and searched FB MP for stuff to put on my Christmas Bronco wish list. Kind of excited 'bout the care package thing because it'd be the only one like it on the block

Looks nice! Now would probably be the one of the few times it would be safe to remove that drip pan, lol. (And of course you won’t need it after the new engine, right;D)

Still pulling out unused wires and components from the eighties. CB, amp, a/c pieces, crappy stereo etc. Lotta unattached wire... Hoping to get back to basics soon
