Progress... all be it slow progress, but I'll still take it. This dash has fought me all morning so I'm good for the day with it. I think I have about 3 1/2 full days of work into it from start to finish with cutting, welding, paint prep, etc.... Did a three step process with a sealer primer, dupli color ford paint (wimbledon white), and a 2 part clear (eastwood 2X product) all rattle can easy stuff. I told the wife this is as far as my body work goes.

Nice man.....

Can you guess what part of the project I'll be working on next?

What did I do...well the other day I ordered 4 new ball joints off Rockauto and a new p/b booster from JBG. Then yesterday I started it and drove it around for a while in my back 40 woods area.

Not today but Saturday I met some other Bronco owners at the local Cars & Coffee.

I decided to put a dash pad in. I tested the old dash and decided I liked it so I got a new one from wild horses. I haven't decided whether to put screws in the bottom like stock or put emblem tape there instead.

here is an old picture. I liked the clean look without it, but I think it looks more finished with the dash pad.

I've installed a lot of movetech parts and been pleased. Last personal truck I used them on have over 50k of happy miles. Are they as good as oem, no idea. Better than worn out parts? You betcha

Good luck with the upper. The outside diameter is too large to press fit all the way into mine. I ended up buying a Moog instead for the upper. I will have to turn about 0.100" off the outer diameter if I want to use it for the other side someday.

Measure the old upper before you press in the new upper and make sure it will fit.

The lower works fine, but dont press it in until you have the upper done.

a couple days ago I decided to put a dash pad in. Then since I had the day off today, I was trying to talk my self out of lifting, but I really love driving this bronco. it is so much fun I'll use any excuse. finally decided to go because it gave me an excuse to drive the bronco, lol.

this is a before shot of the interior

this is how it looks now. I think it gives it a more finished look. and the black ties in nicely with the rest of the interior. I took a couple pics out in the sun, and one with the lights on as I was getting ready to back out.

I agree 100% - didn't look bad before, but now it really looks great.
Beautiful truck, no wonder you like driving it!
