Installed radio and some Yamaha enclosed speakers in the back. Got to clean up the wiring Also a new auxillary port, twin USB ports, volt meter with three light switches. Comes with relays installed, all I need to do is run my power wires to each set of lights. Two lights in rear bumper, light bar across top of windshield, and two auxillary lights on front winch bumper. Haven't mounted any of my lights yet.

You're a lucky man Yeller! Of course, you do deserve a pretty good dollop of luck, seeing as how you've been such an active and knowledgeable member of this forum!

Thank you Howard! I greatly appreciate the comments, really am just blessed to have done and continue to do a lot of things and am happy to share.

It’s all about priorities and life choices. I don’t want to reach the point that I can’t do and be able to say “I wish I’d of done…..”. Something I took to heart from a dear friend that was a mentor and life coach when I was in my teens. He worked hard his whole life, had amassed great wealth and was in his early 70’s. When he was 55 he had a massive stroke that left him severely physically disabled. His advice was “Plan for tomorrow so when you need it you have what you need to live but live today like it’s never going to happen, we aren’t promised tomorrow”. He had great plans of retiring at 58 to do all of these great plans, he spent his entire life working amassing wealth, not taking vacations “I can do that later” missing his kids growing up as he was always working, often far from home for months at a time. He got to do very few of his bucket list items and had serious regrets about not being there for his children. He was my neighbor, I had the privilege to spend a lot of time with a man that wasn’t physically able to do a lot but he was always looking to share lessons with those that he took interest in, he didn’t want them to have the life regrets that he did. He passed shortly after I moved out on my own, I will cherish the lessons I learned from him for the rest of my life and I try to live by those lessons the best I can.

Let's hear it! It should be an ongoing thread. Whatever you did, big or small, post pics, threadjack, comments, anything goes!

Today I'm picking up some heavy duty rubber and am building wheel well liners!
Today, I removed the transmission modulator battery.

And of course it looks like the weather is perfect! Actually this time of year in Utah is usually beautiful.
Of course, by "beautiful" I can mean rain, snow, hail, clouds, gully washers, blizzards and damn near anything else. But the sun and clouds usually win the day.
When you're there, it's all good...

Amen to that!

Been here for all seasons. Labor Day to the end of April are the best. I actually love dead if winter, no one is here, it’s perfect. Been here wheeling when it’s -35 and 110, I loved every day of it.

Funny, I was on their site the other day and I couldn’t find the housings at all. Can you still buy custom steering nines?

Yes they can still do custom steering nines. I am getting one factory width with no brackets. Right now with D44 ends but I may change my mind and go with D60 ends. Pretty decent price. I think around $1800 or so. Call and ask them. Very helpful. If you look online for the Jeeps you see there F9 axle.
