Made some more progress on the AX15 swap into the 79 Bronco for my buddy's wife to drive. We lucked out and were able to reuse the stock crossmember and rear driveline! We tested it on jackstands and everything functioned as it should. After some brake line repair we should be driving it by Friday night.

And one little smidgen of progress for my 69 build, repainted and refurbished the accelerator pedal. Onto the clutch and brake pedals tonight.

Almost done with painless wiring harness swap, dash re-installed yesterday. Many things to integrate, including EEC-IV injection harness, dual electric fuel pumps, 3G alternator, security interrupt, hydraulic winch controls, etc. It has been a process, oh, and a new tilt steering wheel while I am at it.

Are you running dual tanks with fuel injection? Does the eec manage selecting the fuel pump? How do you you manage the return line(s)?

Let's hear it! It should be an ongoing thread. Whatever you did, big or small, post pics, threadjack, comments, anything goes!

Today I'm picking up some heavy duty rubber and am building wheel well liners!
Body work, getting ready to put motor tranny and transfer case back in.

A few more things checked off the list. Installed the ARB air locker in the hybrid HP44. Got the Yukon nodular case painted and fitted/drilled the Gorilla warflares on the front.

Getting ready for the AZ Stampede. Oil/filter change, topped all fluids, found an exhaust hanger that looked to be broken a while I'll need to repair.

Since the weather sucks, did some easy bling installs thanks to our friends at WH. Billet speedo bezel, windshield knobs, and stainless windshield washer nozzles. Also purchased WH 6.5 speaker kick panels for the Bluetooth stereo/speaker install, which is next.

Ok, it's hijack time.
I thought I was simply going blind, but I see it's a deeper mystery.
I've been trying to post a new thread about another photo shoot needing a Bronco, and on my screen there is no button to click in the header to start a new discussion.
But I just took a screen shot, and there it is in the top bar! So is there some new fangled high-tech trick to this? Right click on the oblivion inducer and then say beetlejuice three times? Or is it just two?
Anyway, anyone got some insight? I could PM Jon (should have) but haven't posted in this thread for a long time, so thought I'd shout out for a bigger audience.
Thanks!

So not blind after all. Maybe "yellow blind" perhaps?
Before sending the previous post, I literally scrolled back and forth three different times, looking for that yellow "Post Thread" button on the top right. I swear it wasn't there!
The weird thing is, I could clearly see it here in the screen shot, but going back and looking over the entire region at the top of the page, I did not see it until I went back AFTER posting.
Cue up the Twilight Zone theme music....

Anyway, thanks for putting up with my hijack. Hopefully we can find a member that can join in and tell us how it went.

And though I didn't "do" anything to my Broncos, I talked about them here and there, and with this one, just got my posts up to just 35 shy of 50k!
I can do that standing on my head here at the computer. ;)
Woohoo and maybe now I can afford to take a vacation. Maybe by the next Roundup in May!
