Doing the every few day start up and inspection since its not my daily driver, discovered a small coolant leak, not sure where yet. Noticed the front tire which was dry rotted to begin with had now started to separate from the tread due to the recent driving / shake down runs I have been trying to do. Also come to the realization that my bronco probably has about the same monthly note as a new car or truck with A/C, new good tires, a top, doors and air bags and seat belts, but is not nearly as cool!

Took a wire brush to the rust under the hood. I feel much better... It looks better too!

Finished installing a 4-Runner e-brake assembly to replace mine that broke at the dash then busted the firewall bolts trying to get it out :(

Tomorrow I'm going to install my newly reupholstered stock driver's seat. It was a very tight fit (I'm not sure the frame was stock) and had to order spring clips from Wild Horses to attach the back cover to the seat back. Wrong parts showed up, but they quickly UPS'd the correct parts and they should be showing up tomorrow.:D

finally got my paint on...went with the original color...code 6...viking red and got a smokin deal on some white paint. so, instead of wimbledon white, i went with a bright white. they look good together. now, it's time to get a roll bar/rear cage in this before the top goes back on. anyone have luck with extreme customs fabrication? i wanted to get the Stroppe factory style kit then add some "extra" tubing to it.

Bax and Tasker are becoming slackers.

I reviewed and added to my list(s)

...and polished on my slots.

I sure have been missing it. Haven't had the time or money to finish the trans/engine swap. Still need a few parts, but they are cheap, and I'll have plenty of time on my hands in two weeks...
