awesome build day!

Had a really good build day. Por15ed rear drums, hooked up speakers in the rear, put carpet in, wired kill switch, bolted seats in, bolted seatbelts in, tested seat heaters and finished Bestop install. I still can't get my doors to unlock. I need a few days away from that one, its killing me. Here are a few pics from today. One is my rig trying to make friends with a badass monster of a Bronco.

Finished up a few small projects today and did some ordering. I ordered a 20 circuit painless fuse box, Roughstuff spring mounts so I can get my pinion angle correct and a few things from Tom's.

Progress on the AntiCon Build today with my sons help.

Son helped out a lot on the AntiCon build today.
1) He polished out my vintage slotted mags with a Mothers powerball( they need a professional polish, but look fine for now.

2) We Drilled and tapped the mags for the newer Ford metal hub caps, this is tedious.

3)He washed the truck from it's protective cocoon.

4) Worked on the motor, we found a 25 yr old relic. He found a Golan radiator filter that had been lost to me for a 1/4 century at my in laws place. I am making a new SS filter screen so it can be mounted on the AntiCon, since the CO. is defunct I have to make my own filter. That's a SS HD oil splatter shield from kitchen section. I am going to hole saw appropriate size filters and stack them to get good filtration.

More to come soon, we are going to get the sliders tinted 5 % CarbonFiber like my SRT8, prior to installing them, we were going to do it this afternoon after letting the new top seals heat up in the Sun, much will be done in the next few days...

I put together a new tail pipe for the passengers side. Now both sides of the bronco's exhaust match.
The plate that holds the parking brake cable to the drivers side floor pan was welded back down to said floor pan.

Cut the wiring harness tape off to figure out some blinker/signal problems. After wiggling some wires everything started working again. Good weekend!

Received my refurbished gauge cluster from Kevin, Classy Chassis Restoration (fallingdown).
Won't have time to install before the weekend, but am stoked nonetheless.
Besides repairing my speedometer/odometer, I bought the luminous gauge package and added a Bronco script.
Can't wait to drive at night again, couldn't see squat before.

Mounted my rear bumper (with new bolts). Grounded my gas tank and installed filler hoses. tried to shim the body mounts again and get the door gaps right. (still not right).
