Hey Chris, this is awesome!! Want to mention an oddity for the flashers in '66 broncos. As of part of last week and this week, I have been trying to chase down a ghost in my dash as the flasher lights will not activate until I pull the flasher switch out and trip the turn signal lever the same...

Over the years I have seen about 25% of the vin tags with these screws. The other with the traditional rivets. Just thought I would add here!

So after studying the pics, I would definitely say it is a typical mid-year 1966 bronco with the V8. It has some replacement parts that are uncharacteristic but they are merely swap and bolt on pieces. 1966 items: - inner fender/heater core brace on passenger side - plastic driver's side air...

Like Drew mentioned, I too have witnessed only the body paint to the eyebrow in vintage ads. Several ads too. Both painted styles are correct for the '66s.

Mike, 996 is very common for the '67 roadster. "9" being parchment bucket and "96" for being the roadster. tim

That looks like the engineering number for the frame (or generically called the "part number").

Just spoke to Melissa twice this week. She answered both times right away. I have always had great luck with their service! And they care about "correctness" of the interior covers.

Not sure what size you are looking for but I found some of the smaller ones at hardware stores like True Value or Ace. Maybe even homeport centers too!
