What an odd analysis. I've not heard of spinning the pinion race. Do you know if it's the outer or inner race? It doesn't matter; I'd just change out the bearings and drive on.

When I got my 435 it was from an automatic, and I just looked around some more and found a collar from a different, manual, one and swapped it at the yard.

Maintenance on those bodies is outrageous, I’ll stick with the bronco, it’s a lot cheaper

keep door rust out. I find the best way to preserve the doors is to keep them in the basement with a dehumidifier. 8-)
