I'm converting to a 3-speed floor shifter. My steering column is out and disassembled. I want to yank the shifter tube. Is there a trick? Or does it just come out the top? Do the shift levers have to come out first? I searched previous threads and couldn't find and answer to this.

I have a 1974 stock Bronco with original 302. It has been apart for several years and moved at least 4 times since being apart. With that said, nuts and bolts are no longer organized. I'm cleaning up engine pullies and have come to realize I'm unsure which bolts are used for the crank pulley...

Does the EZ harness off Ebay work well for the underhood stuff too?

Mine is the 3.5" standard kit. The lower tab welds to the "C" cap. I found some pictures on line last night where they were welded on the center raised portion of the cap so I went ahead and did mine the same way.

Been doing a little more research and I think it is used to adjust the idle with. When I took it off, it was adjusted too far out to be effective for anything and might as well have been on a shelf somewhere. The engine ran pretty good. Thanks for the reply.

It's been almost two years since I took mine off but I believe you have to put the hinges in the holes in the gate and then bolt them to the rear posts with the gate down.

I personally like the "bulldog" look (rearward rake) as long as it isn't over done, but that's just me.

Sounds like a pump. Are you running electric pump or the one of the front cover? Either way, it sounds like fuel.

You may never completely get the stain out but Tide powder or Cascade powder worked with a stiff brush will also work wonders on a stained garage floor.

Sounds like it's worth a try. I cleaned everything up pretty good but I'm going to go back with the wire wheel and clean out all the grooves a little better.

I started installing the chevy disc brake conversion on my bronco last night. I ran into a problem when I tried to install the 4x4 collar that splines to the inside of the hub. It would not slide in and out properly. I could get it in with persuasion (ie lfh) but it would not slide back out...
