FULL CAGE TRAIL COVER Pics

Heres shots of "Bronco Ed" AKA Ed Stalnakers Roadster with the first FULL CAGE TRAIL COVER. Not sure whos cage it is but the cover looks pretty good to me. (Just found out it's a WH cage).

This beauty is for sale. It is all steel with a couple hundred miles on the clock since completion. Asking price is $32500. I've looked the truck over pretty closely. Its too cheap...

Pat- Ha Ha :p . I want to work on molds as much as you want me to work on molds. It's much more enjoyable than production.

I've put in 96 hours so far this week. Really. One tub almost done, starting another Monday thats due on the 22nd for Mike in FL. This is a killer month for me. November and December aren't much better. Three tubs to do by Christmas. January is open FOR ME! Odie is getting a body dammit. I started this nonsense so I could have a body.

Randy- We'll figure out a fix. Sorry man.

Loco- Thanks man, Going out Monday UPS.

OK, I'll buy the January spot, how much for PayPal?

You don't have enough money, gold bullion, or adult virgin daughters..... ;D;D;D

You could come put the new Mercedes turbo diesel in my Bronco for me, get the frame prepped for MY trail tub, and install the new BroncoDesign total air ride suspension. That might equal the mold cost and time.... ;)

Trail Cover ordering info

Eventually, I'll have a page and link on my site to place orders with Serguei for covers. Until then, he's given me permission to share his email address if you'd like to order now.

Send requests to; skvitt5@hotmail.com

Be sure to include your address to calculate shipping, slant or full, and grey or black. He'll email you back with paypal instructions and a total.

Rgds to all, Mike

Mike, just curious and may have missed it. Will the family cage cover work with a hard top? Sometimes I run the top and sometimes not. I don't have doors on it, so I need something to keep the inside dry when it's outdoors. Does that makes sense? A few beers into the evening, so...

CMS- Thank you for your service! I would say that if the side flaps were longer, it would work. As it is, the bottoms of the door openings would be open because of the added height of the top. Serguei said he can make the door flaps up to 6 inches longer which would make the difference. I'll see if I can get Ed Stalnaker to put his on a full top truck and get some pics we can post.

Mike,

I did not go back and read any improvment you may have made but i install my old cover last night and 2 things that would be nice. rear straps need lenghtened with a plate bumper and 3" body lift the straps just fit 6"--10" longer would be nice and need some way to figure out which way is up & front a different color strap in the front 2 positions would take care of that, I'm always putting it on upside down and backwords.

Those are all good ideas. Tough to get it inside out since the material is coated and has a different color/texture inside. Serguei follows the thread and may incorporate them. I'll mention it to him.
Thanks, Mike

Ransil-
I passed the suggestions on to Serguei. The strap length/front/back thing makes sense. Bending the topic slightly, Another one of our soft goods made by Serguei popped up on You Tube courtesy of Brian at Build-A-Bronco. Shawn did a great job explaining them. I couldn't have demoed them better. Thanks again to the guys at Build-A-Bronco;

Serguei calls them "door toppers". I refer to them as SOFT WINDOWS. They are patterned from a set of NOS '66 pieces forwarded to me by TITO (who still hasn't collected on the trade, clearing my throat). Come on man, tubs aren't getting any cheaper.... ;D

Serguei and I spent a year reverse engineering these things trying to get them right. I think they came out well. Price is $365 plus shipping including the mounting plates. When the windows are out, you have a nice clean set of roadster half doors. Send him your zip, single or fixed vent style and color- black/white for a quote. Again his email is; skvitt@hotmail.com

Here's some pics;
