Replaced the brake light switch and removed all the crap like CB radio brackets, after market cheap speakers, etc that was installed in the 70s/80s. It’s crazy what people do to these things.
Started removing the original floor covering. Not sure what that stuff is. Like plastic and cardboard.

Got my AX15 swap done Man it’s come alive. So fun to drive. Summary WH AX15 , center force 11 clutch, 4.56 gears Yukon dura grip. B&M short throw . Runs great. But 2 to 3rd when I want to beat on it, it will only pull about 4K rpm I guess that all the motor will pull under load.. Any way truck has plenty of power and I’m really happy with it . On the interstate at 65-70 It’s pulling about 2k rpm .

Got the base mount plate for the idler and tensioner serp belt pulleys all fabbed and mounted up. Almost there...should have the PS pump and supercharger on line next week and then it's time for some road tuning of the Holley HP EFI...woo hoo!

Replacing rear spring and shackle bushings. I got really lucky and only had to deal with one bolt rusted solid to the sleeve. I tell you what, it was a pain in the arse to remove it! Anti-seize will be overused upon reassembly! I will save the original shackles but am so glad I bought new replacements to make the install quick and easy.

Here I go!

Time to re-attach all the pieces falling off, repair the broken crank on the 347, rewire...

Big job ahead...

Dropped the fuel tank. I didn't get around to changing the sending unit seal just yet.
