Thanks for those pics! Gives my memory a real before-and-after vibe.
The Sunset is now literally next door to where I stayed at the Hale Napili. Although I could be wrong, I don't think it was there at the time.;D

Bronco rotation today... Drove the 69 for a leak check on my new water pump installed just before going to The Big Apple for Christmas.

Yes, there was a leak, easy fix, the lower rad hose clamp on the pump. We're good to go for driving to work tomorrow.

Haha, yeah I figured as much, but some tourists actually try it with their rentals and end up getting stuck. Enjoy your time on Maui.

I'm going to be on the big island the end of the month. hopefully I will convince my wife to go to the Maunakea observatory with me. My son and I went a few years ago. it is a fun drive. the summit is 13,796 ft. beautiful views.

Duff bumper installed, installed tire carrier and fuel can holder. Just wish Bronco vendors would give exploded view with all included parts for all kits they sell. Still have to install the cooler cradle. Fitech tuning started until it ran out of gas!! I'm not doing the tuning, just buying the fuel.

Nice...here it is as viewed from 7000' on Maui. Maunakea on the left, Maunaloa on the right.

Installed my rebuilt alternator, new optima red top battery, new power steering and alternator belts, pulled out my leaking rear axle and cut off the bearing and locking collar and changed my oil. Then I went to the beach with my daughter and our dog!

Put the battery jump charger box on it, because it has been setting for a while. It buzzed even with 200 amp jump start setting. After a wiring/connection ck. I think the battery finally gave up the ghost. I have another battery in another rig to see if that will get it to spin over.

Always tomorrow....
