Pressure tested the cooling system to find my leak. Found out it was the bottom hose coming of the water pump. Was driving me crazy. I could not see where it was coming from until I used the pressure tester I rented at the local auto parts store. It is a good deal at advanced auto. Pay for the unit, when you come back you get a full refund.

It’s the small things that can be irritating until resolved...nice to have it fixed I’m sure...gotta love that tool program!

Hi Guys,
Glad I finally did something about this.
Remove the EGR carb spacer. Found small hole and a lot of carbon.

My plan was to blind the small hole (some exhaust recycling port!?) in intake manifold but lucky to score a 64-73 non EGR.

Will still continue to use the PCV closed crankshaft system though.

/Anders

Picked up an E-brake light switch I had ordered from the local Ford dealer and ordered a NOS Mustang housing for the Pinto E-brake lever I bought off Ebuy a while back.

All new wiring harness , connectors and new wires from bumper to bumper. Just waiting on a brake light switch connection from Toms and all done. Not a wire or connector that was not replaced. Wont be doing this again anytime soon. Without the help from someone that knew what they were doing. Would have never got it done. Everyone tip a glass to my wiring Guru Sean.

Mocked up the rear section of my family cage. Started taking the dash out to redesign and powder coat. Got hung up on 2 screws with no tool to reach it. Gotta pic up some cut-off wheels while I'm out tomorrow.

Picked up a buddy who hasn't ridden in it since it was white/yellow. We put about 45 miles on and got comments everywhere we went. Had one guy asked if it was built or bought . After we got back my buddy was bummed saying he thought the ladies would be the ones wanting to see it but all we came across were guys haha!

Finally rotated the motor over to TDC, pulled the distributor (which on mine is just a cam/crank angle pickup), and ran the oil pump with my drill. No leaks, built good pressure, so that step of getting the motor back to life is done.

Pulled my injectors and fuel rails off the manifold, pressurized the fuel system and found I have a bad injector stuck open. I'm so glad I watched a video on YouTube where a guy went to start his engine after sitting and had the same issue but he hydro-locked his engine before he found the issue.

I sent them all out for cleaning/inspection and when they get back Monday...time to start this beast after 6 years of napping in the garage.

Neighbors are going to love open headers!

Installed my new Champion radiator.

How’s the fit? I had to do some surgery on my mounts to shift if towards passenger by about 0.25”. I have the reverse inlet/outlet style though for the explorer water pump.

Fit was fine left to right. I had to notch the top and bottom mounts because the tanks were a bit wider than the stock radiator.

Getting ready to take the Bronco home today from the shop where they are fine tuning the fitech. The Tech was doing a last road run when it started making a rattle noise from what sounded like the engine bay. He shut it down immediately. Brought it back into the gagage, pulled off the passenger valve cover and found a bent pushrod. Engine had 18 miles and a couple of tuning hours on it. They are pulling off the other valve cover and intake manifold to inspect. Engine is under warranty, started a claim. Glad it happened at the shop. 351w....
