Figured I'd chime in so y'all didn't think I went off and died somewhere... I've been working on my Bronco when able to but a sick mother and some other things have taken priority. Combine all that with a dead hard drive and losing most of my pics, The computer world hasn't seen me much lately other than Facebook...

Enough of that and on to the Bronco-

I had a small work party not too long ago with Ratch and his wife and Stingus coming over. We got the roll bar cleaned up, offroad lights on the bumper hooked up, played with some painiting here and there, remounted my trans cooler and worked on the dash some more.

HID's are in but I need to replace one of the transformers and my dash is nearly done. below are some random pics and note that in the dash pics, it's just mock-up so some knobs may be crooked or even loose. In the last pic, the tag represents the glovebox location. I'm still trying to think of a good idea for a cool glove box door about the size of a license plate...

I may post some more pics of the dash when I find them - sure wish I could post pics from my phone directly to the forum. Come on Jon, isn't there an app for that yet? ;) Who knows, there may be already but since I'm never here I wouldn't know... anyway - onto the Bronco porn-

Drove it to work!! 35 miles one way, 70mph is a cool 2,000 rpm, torque converter locked, plenty of go to get it up to 90 without breaking a sweat...

Now I need hood pins, as it popped to the secondary catch 4 times on the way...

Thanks Dave. Unfortunately she's headed in the opposite direction but we're dealing with it.

Tapatalk isn't a free app so before I download it, anyone else familiar with it?

Not free but like $2 to have the version that can upload. Definitely worth it. It's what I'm on right now.

After four years in storage, due to me working overseas (civilian) and then coming back to work in a city other than where the 68 Bronco is stored, it is running again! I rebuilt the transfer case, installed a new clutch, and upgraded to front disc brakes. Today, we will bleed the brakes and take her out for a test spin.

Ok, maybe I'll have to splurge and spend the $2.99 on it. I don't know how often I'd use it but it would be nice to be able to upload images directly from my phone. Are there other benefits to it?
