Drove it on the street for the first time in like 8 years after swapping the 5.13/spool chuck out for a 3.50/open and putting on 35" radials in place of the 38.5 swampers on beadlocks. Now if I actually register it I can put some real miles on it.

Talked to a friend about it and having some things powder coated... doesn't sound like much but it means I need to have things done soon in order to go to the powder coater so if nothing else, it was a boot in the butt to get things moving!

Drove it around, filled it with gas, gave it a bath, and measured for new exhaust.

Slotted the steering column support bracket to accomodate the 2-inch body lift. Then cut some more metal from around the twin sticks and floor shifter to accomdate the BL.

Chased down an oil leak. Came out to find a puddle of oil under the engine the other day. Couldn't work on it till today. The best I could find was the oil filter was leaking. Kind of odd... I changed the oil a month ago and have over 2000 miles on it and now it starts to leak??? :p

Not much today! Replaced my 69-77 front turn signals with the 66-68 versions and they look way better. Not even comparable to the other in my eyes.
