What have you done to your Bronco today?

I walk past it a lot. still kindof tryin to decide what to do with it! with the 351C needing 91 octane, and getting a whopping 7mpg...I can't keep it the way it is. the wife isn't too happy aout all the trouble and expense goin in to that motor, only to pull it out again%)

Replaced plugs wires, solenoid, alternator, Starter, Ignition switch, Cap/rotor. Took top and interior out and Blew out the three years of dirt that accumulated after sitting under a tree in Mississippi that came with it! took the dry rotted carpet out, NO RUST anywhere!!!!! NONE ZILCH NOTTA.... Im the second owner and I'm just tickled PINK!!!! had it shipped from MS to CO from a family member...

Ok so this wasn't all done today but I thought i'd at least list it so I know what all I HAVE done since purchase.. in Late FEB..

Kind of runs together after a while

1. stripped interior-
2. total resto on front seats including powder coated frames- now all black
3. wire wheeled and cleaned tub- and had sprayed in LINE x..
4. tranny swap to NV3550 (added 1"BL) and all the fun that accompanied that..
5. All new Brakes and lines (front disc and back drum).
6 new ceramic coated headers
7. rebuilt steering gear box
8. added WH new lower steering shaft
9. 6 point roll cage from "all 4 fun" being installed and powder coated as we speak.
10. new 40" Corbeau rear seat from JBG's- on its way.
11. new Warn Premium hubs.
12. new 3 point seat belts
13. new locking stereo console.
14. New BC broncos- Power brake system
15. 3 core Champion radiator
16. New starter solenoid and battery
17. 4 new Duff shocks
18. added new set of 11 pack DEAVER HVY duty springs


to do list-
1. re design Dash with BC's and a new dash layout
2. finsih treating and undercoating the bottom of the tub
3. Wiring harness
4. replace rockers at some point...
5. H4 headlights and wiring harness
6. 302 overhaul

7. chill out and enjoy for a while

Took it to a car show (see pictures in my other thread) and had a good time.

used it to pull landscaping bushes out.

looked at my rear end, 1 bent 1 year old superior axle shaft
brake spring broke , that explains all the noises

tighten up the tranny cooler line clamp, that took care of the burning smell

Got the PS pump bracket & tension bracket in the mail, now to get it on... 14 hrs on the road today.. uggh.. pooped.

Spent several hours trying to dial in the fuel injection... and missed the car show I wanted to enter. At least it runs better- still not 100%...

went to the junk yard today and picked up struts for the lift gate and the hood and got a combo washerjug/coolant overflo jug fro an exploder and finished the crossover pipe on my exhaust, had a busy and still found time to take the wife out to dinner

Took my son and 2 grandsons to a Bronco get together at the Rainbow Trout Farm in Sandy OR. It's about 50 miles from my house,so we had a nice drive.Met some really nice folks that welcomed me into their group,
They are responsible for the Unevent in Florence OR at the end of Aug. So this was a good time to introduce myself,since we will all be in the same campground next month.
