took off my 32s, and installed my tiny 235x75-15 studded snow tires.
took 'er for a spin and tinkered some more with carb adjustments. sometimes it almost seems to have a lean misfire, just like a subtle misfire when I'm rompin on it.

Replaced the lower radiator hose, only to find this morning that I still have a leak. Going to the radiator shop tomorrow to get a pressure test done. I fear the radiator itself is leaking then comes the question to pay to fix the existing or replace the whole thing.

Hoping to just fix the existing because I need to replace/upgrade the power steering pump that is also leaking.

Fired it up for the first time since the Fall Cruise. Used it as a log skidder for about an hour and then parked it.

Hot damn, just nailed down another set of adapters for $45. So i've got adapters for $90 and wheels for $180. And I expect I can recoup most of that selling the old wheels and tires!

as requested

do these wheels have a sealer on them?

Wished I had it here in PA with me. Sure would be easier to drive around downtown Pittsburgh than my F250 crew cab.

Removed and sanded the dash. An unexpected rain storm stopped any momentum we had though. Was hoping to get by without removing it, but since I have the dash pulled away for the wiring, it just makes sense to take it out, remove any rust, and re-paint it. Also removed the bolt on windshield frame (67) and have to say I wish they all came off that easily. Nice to be able to remove it in five minutes.

Also pulled the heater out and took the box apart to clean and paint. Plan to do the Chevy Heater Blower Motor Conversion.

Well I have the new car itch so I need to do something to distract myself so I am working on putting a hard top on the BUS so I can drive it around through the fall/winter and stay dry/kids warm. I had 2 tops so I toot the front from one and the back from the other and am combining them. I will keep the window stock, don't even actually want to change the gasket but we'll see when I start the quick body work. Just going to fill in the extra window portion with sheet metal I have around.
Got it all tacked and final fitted today, it'll work. Going to try and finish the welding tonight and tomorrow. Have an extra bow I am going to put at the seam to strengthen it up. will paint black and possibly raptor coat the inside and outside when done.

The handle was broken off the end of the dipstick for my 76. So today I designed and turned out a new aluminum handle on the lathe. I then attached a new piece of .040" blue spring steel to the new handle. I had just finised a rear main seal replacement, so the pan was filled with 5 new quarts of oil. So I was able to install the new dipstick and find the full mark. Then I used and engraver to mark the full line on the new dipstick. Turn out pretty nice, pic's attached.
I also removed, and cleaned out the windshield washer tank and cleared the plugged hoses and spray nozzles.
A couple days back I installed a set of Cherokee wiper blade that I purchased from 2monkeyboys in NJ. They worked great while testing the washer sprayer.

Tito - Can you start a thread for the top rebuild? Id like to follow it as that will be my project this winter.

Got under my Bronco this weekend and took off probably 20 lbs of dirt/grime. Dirt that is probably older than me. Put a nice layer of undercoating where the aux tank will be mounted next weekend. Also found a random fuel line on the passenger side frame. Any idea what this would of been for? Has the stock rear tank, no 3rd tank. It ran from the headers all the way to the rear passenger wheel well.

Also noticed quite a bit of "pitting" on my front driveshaft. Is this something that will need to be replaced or does everyones look like this? This is fully extended:

Driveshaft looks fine, probably had water in the boot for a while at some point to get the rust but if the splines are solid (unscrew that boot and pull it out more) no need to worry.

If you click on my sig you will get to my build thread that spans the past 5 years, I'll keep it updated there.
