Ventura County,
FWIW, the one I have has been in the family since it was new.
Dad bought it in April of 69 and it was his pride and joy.
Before he passed away this past Jan, he handed me the pink to it.
I love the looks from passerbys when Im out in it.
For some reason, there is something about the EB s.
Especially if they are unmolested.

I worked on a friend's Bronco in high school auto shop in 1970. Wanted one bad! We ordered ours in '77 when we found out they were going to quit making real Broncos. The real reason we were able to buy it? It was the cheapest ford available besides the Pinto. (true story) Just look at our baby now!

i bought mine because my best friend my son went to college , and i had no one to ride dirt bikes ,fish with or anything else so i've always wanted a convertible but can't touch the models i like so the bronco was the perfect choice . i've only owned fords so this is the most fun i can have alone.

We (my husband "broncoxraptor" and I) love off roading and I've always had an affinity for older trucks. I just needed an outlet for it since I never grew up with trucks. I met my husband and I fell in love with EB's as well as him haha. We use our 69 for mostly off roading and he uses it to get himself to work when it's too cold or in the off chance: rain, instead of the motorcycle. Plus EB's are so versatile.

Did I mention they just simply look cool? Haha.

Hopefully you find your's soon!! Keep looking in local craigslist.com, truck finders and you'll find one soon enough.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to be towing?

I bought mine for the chicks man, the chicks.

cheers to that~
Yeah I couldnt vote either - I use mine for fun - weekend trips, nice day cruises, dogs, bikes, and the occasional "yeah, it'll go over/thru that".

It makes a great second car for those who want something different but don't want to spend a ton of money on some other overly hyped classic.

Why?- First vehicle I drove around the hayfield by myself-'76 EB ranger(in '76). Wanted one ever since! I would post how old I was when I drove it but I guess my greying beard and receeding hairline give that away..... :)
I to have the sickness. You need a stocker just because their aren't that many unmolested left, one street/mild mod with lots of go power and then a trail rig-I have ammended that this year-trails were getting harder and more intense so we built another ford product beater to save the trail rig. Hopefully in the not to distant future another eb based trail rig will surface out of the skunkworks. :)

This is my third one. I've always been a ford guy since high school. I wish I had all three. They really are a 4WD muscle car, also they are getting rare and you just don't see many day to day anymore. But mostly it's the blue oval thing.

Yay! I am in the majority! I bought my Bronco to drive plain and simple. I am now weeding out the 33+ year old weak points on it so that I can enjoy it problem free.

I used to be way into vintage Mustangs but never could bring myself to drive them in the bad weather (nor would any sane person want too). The Broncos fit the bill. Good camping, towing, offroading, looking cool vehicle.

i've had a couple of broncos before, but they are gone. i wanted to get another one, not just to wheel, but also to learn about working on trucks. before i got Anne in april, i had never even changed the oil in a vehicle. now i've done that and sooo much more. they're fairly simple and straightforward, and i'm enjoying every minute of wrenching on her.

so i bought mine to wheel and wrench.

I bought mine in November of 2007. They PO finally sold it to me after turning down my offers for 10 years. I'm a hot rodder at heart that loves all the old school vehicles. I guess i was just born in the decade...

Love Ford, old Fords, Ford trucks, those rear uncut fenders on the bronc had an appeal to me. Almost bought a 64 4x4 truck. Had the uncut fenders with 44s. Nice looking truck. Like 62-66 had those fenders...right? I'm ford fan!
