    twin stick install D-20

I got my twin stick from Tom's. It clears the dash easily. Cutting the flags on the shift rails is easy with a small cutoff wheel. You will also have to open up the hole in the tunnel a little, but that is easily done with a saber saw. With the stock J sifter I had a real tough time getting...

    Best bumpers?

I am running the Cross Enterprises Trail Mate Front Bumper. It is very well made and satisfies all your requirements. See it here. http://www.crossenterprises.com/index_html.htm

    C4 Deep Pan

I too had a leaky C4. It was due to the flange on the stock pan being slightly distorted. Rather than trying to straighten it, I installed the B&M pan. Now I have no leaks and a little extras capacity in the pan.

Thanks a lot guys. It was a bad ground on the front left Parking/ TS light. All is well now. I don't know what I would do without this forum!

    Electrical problem. Help!

When I turn on the parking and/or headlights, the left turn signal and dash indicator light come on (not blinking). It does this even with the T/S switch dieconnected. When connected the T/S and emergency flashers work perfectly. Looking at N8's diagrams, it looks like there is nothing hooked...

C4 Capacity minus the torque conv.

I don't want to change out the fluid in the TC because It only has three hundred miles on it. I am just replacing a bent, leaky pan.

C4 Capacity minus the torque conv.

I am going to change the pan on my C4. How much tranny fluid will I need if I don't drain the torque converter?

    C4 pan options

Thanks for all the great information. I have ordered a new aluminum pan from JBG. I will use the cork gasket and be carefull to not overtighten the bolts. I HATE leaks!

How to remove the Bronco emblem

I need to remove the Bronco Sport emblems to begin prep for painting. How do you get to the back of the emblems on the passenger side for removal? There isn't a lot of room between the inner fender and the fresh air box. Do the little keepers on the back of the emblen pull off or are they...

    C4 pan options

My c4 is leaking around the pan. This tranny was recently rebuilt and has a new gasket. It leaked before it was rebuilt. I have torqued the pan bolts about as much as I dare. The flange on the pan looks a little deformed. Before I take it back to the shop that rebuilt it, I would like to...

    Smog testing Arizona

Thanks guys for the replys. Sounds a whole lot easier in Az than it is here in CA. My 76 was about to qualify for the 30 year rolling exemption. Then the Smog Nazis (AKA the CA Air Resources Board) convinced the legislature to do away with it and make only 1975 and older vehicles exempt. I...

    Smog testing Arizona

I just bought property in Sierra Vista, Arizona and will probably build a home there within the next few years. I am wondering what kind of a smog test my 76 sport will be subjected to. I am running a freshly rebuilt stock 302 sans air pump. I have all the smog components, but it would be a...

    Speedometer correction

I used the link that IowaMike posted, bought the gear from JBG, and it corrected for my 31 inch rubber almost perfectly.

I just finnished a rebuild on my 302, and I clened everthing with some old kerosene that I had. It worked fine but smelled like crap. I also used carb cleaner on some of the parts.

Do I need Dual Batts or not?

I have thought about adding a second battery ever since I installed my winch. It seems to me that all the current required to your electrical loads is ultimately provided by the alternator. If you are using more current than your alternator can provide then your battery (s) will run down...

Any other passenger seat belts that will work

It sounds like you want OEM belts, but if not, BC Broncos and Wild Horses both have lap belts that will work.

    Tranny cooler lines

Hotwheels...Wouldn't the pressure be the same everywhere in the cooler loop? It is hard to believe there is much pessure drop in the radiator.

    Kerosene (sp?) heater for garage?

I have two propane heaters that I use in the garage. One is cylendrical unit with a fan that will heat my garage from freezing to 70 deg. in about ten minutes. The problem is it only has one output and it overheats the garage. It also sounds like a 747. I also bought a unit with two...

    removing smog equipment

I think different year models had different air injection ports. Your 75 is most likely the same as my 76. I plugged my ports with a bolt and fender washer gooped up with a little high temp. silicon.
