Directions sent and will be waiting for his response. Thanks for the follow up on the how to get there. BTW, have you seen the yellow, with white top halfcab in Marble Falls on the Burnet side of town? Its been there awhile, probably because the guy wants over 8K. I looked, but not that hard.....

    2 EB's in Lampasas, Texas

Ummmm, Lampasas, opening weekend, Law Enforcement, looks like we have a Central Texas Game Warden in our group. Good deal. I worked for P&W for over 5 years. Never meet a warder I didnt like and thats my story and I'm sticking to it. A hunting buddy is Llano bound this weekend and will make a...

    Tailgate BANG!!!!

I have the exact same noise at the exact same spot in the road where a low spot is when I leave my house. The first couple times I would stop and see what fell off. Nothing. After awhile I stopped looking for body parts left behind. What I have noticed is, I get the "Bump" after I have lowered...

    New contributor, first try pic

I just put on BF Goodrich T/A, 32x11.50's. The lift, well that kinda up in the air. It looks like a block body lift in the back, to manage an uncut Bronco with the old 31x10.50's. There was about an inch and a half between fender and tire. Very stiff in the rear. The front looks like a 2 1/2...

Boy this is good news. Welcome Chuck! Another great reason to hit the Hill County in our Bronco's. Cant wait for opening day. I cant believe no one has asked this question yet, but you can move material things no problem, they just go where ya take'm. But not so with people. So, is everyone...

What stupid questions do people ask about your Bronco?

I'm gonna take a different perspective here; as the one who asks the questions. I have a 76 that I have been working on for over 3 years. I know thats along time, but with a working wife and two kids, my Bronco comes in 4th place in the time dept. I've done the brakes, centech wire'n harness...

Newbee Question Cut Or Not To Cut

Since reading this thread, I feel compelled to chime in here; why? I just went through this. I cut my 76 Bronco 3 weeks ago. Ya it looked good and original and people wanted me to keep it that way, but it was mine and I dove it for 3 years that way. What way? A 2 1/2 lift and a 1 inch body lift...

    Duffs exhaust Muffler ??s

Thanks Suzanne, Your reply makes me feel a whole lot better, and also reinforces what I read on the Cherry Bomb web sight about installing them either way. Scotty's "Way" did make it easier to tuck up under like ya said, and if I'm not doing any damage the way they are, no problem here. He's...

    Duffs exhaust Muffler ??s

I had the same quandary when I got my exhaust system from Duffs also. I mailed to there tech support about the direction of the mufflers and their response was: >The centered port goes to the front towards the headers. Please let me >know if there is anything else that I can assist you with...

    31x12.5?

<It seems that the only type of tire offered in that size is a swamper tire.> I was looking at the 4wheel parts web sight and noticed that B F Goodrich makes a 31x12.5 in a A/T. Thats what got me thinking about that size. I have the 31x10.5 on there right now and have had no problems. Like to...

    31x12.5?

I searched the threads before writing this, and because there were no posts, I thought I'd see what folks think of this size tire, or if anyone is running them. I dont know anyone around here that is running them on any vehicle. I got the OK from the wife for new rims and tires (reasonable...

    stopped dead in the street

CDOG, Wow, I could have written this 3 months ago... I've got a 76 and just installed a Centech harness. Drove it for awhile, then nothing. Like ya said, everything looked fine? Well, after many Bronco meeting night with fellow bronco'ans, I figured I'd start replacing parts one by one, knowing...

No Fire Coming From Coil Wire???

I had the same problem after installing the Centech harness. After alot of wire searching, help from friends, we found out that the stator was bad in the dizzy. For 54 bucks I replaced with a rebuilt dizzy and she is back on the road, no problems, for now. Let me know if I'm close on this one...

    Starting em out young!

It is great is see parents with the kids, no matter what age, working on a project together. I also have two girls. A 10 year old stepdaughter, who like's riding in the Bronco, more then working on it. But she does offer great criticism on the way it looks, just like her momma. Now the two year...

    Brake Light Problem

First off, I would agree to check for GND problems, but I had the same problem with my front turn signals. They worked fine till I turned on the lights, then they just stayed on. I reversed the wires to the turn signal and all is well. Seems I had connected the parking lights wire to the large...

    New Member saying HELLO!

Howdy, a second post from a newbie myself. A big day yesterday, I got my 76 inspected, insured, registered and on the road. After 2 1/2 years on a somewhat re-do, its a great feeling to be driving it, top off, dual exhaust humming and Robert Earl Keen blaring from a single dash speaker. Life is...

    uncut vs cut fenders

I have the same problem, if it is a problem. I bought a 76 2years ago and have the flares ready to go, but I am waffel'n on the cut. The PO installed a 3 1/2 lift and 31x10.50 tires without cutting the rear panels, so I've lived with the uncut fenders for awhile. It works, but if I ever really...
