I think I got the winch fixed - I think it was just a not fully charged battery not being able to power the solenoids. I let the battery charge overnight and the winch seems to be working fine now.

Got a new "Lifetime Warranty" starter and need to install it today or this weekend and then I should be good to go.

We're trying to work a deal on a new (used) motorhome - so hoping to have a newer and slightly bigger RV to stay it at the Round Up! It's a 28 foot vs. the 23 foot one we have now. Also upgrading from the 5.4 V8 to the V10 so it should pull much better. Hope to pick it up tomorrow!

Pearlcoat and I and spouses went and checked out Gore yesterday. Everything at the Cove is looking good for the event. The event field is in great condition - no mud! Weather was perfect and I hope it holds out for next week. Still looking good only a bit hotter!

One change is the trailer and tow rig parking area. The field we have been using (next to the event field) has been converted to a fenced in horse paddock. The new parking area will be up the hill a bit near Camp 2. We'll have signs to direct everyone.

My daughter and I just might be coming this time!! No bronco though but the tracker instead, its super easy on gas.

All depending on work schedule. If I don't work Wed., I will probably be down Wed. sometime. If I do work Wed., I'll be down early enough to try to grab an open seat to do the trails! See "yinz" soon!!!!

I heard the weather forecast on the news this morning. Thursday high is expected to be record breaking and heat advisory setting with an index of 101!

Anybody know the elevation of the Cove? Hopefully it's a little higher up and cooler...

So, how many early Broncos are expected this year? I'd love to make this. Just got mine out of storage for three years. It has some brake and suspension issues I don't think will be resolved in time.
