I am putting an NV4500 in my EB and had to cut out the tunnel to mount new one from Toms Bronco parts. There is a body support under the floor skin that looks to me that needs to be cut out also. After I cut it out do I need to do any additional braceing? How did you mount the new cover weld in...

I had the same problem so I lifted off my body by myself with my engine puller, rolled it to where I wanted it and set it on saw horses. Beware your body must be totaly gutted and in good condition. or it will bend.

Why do Toms and WH look different if made by the same company? If you look at the catalogs WH has a bar tack and digital tack and that makes it look better to me. Could it be Toms catalog picture is an old style?

Have been looking at Digital Guages and different vendors have different styles. Does anyone have any good or bad experience with these? Who besides Dakota Digital makes them? I like the display set up better on the one from WH than Toms or BC. Any help out there?

I got a great buy on a NV 4500 out of texas on e-bay. Don't have it in yet but can't wait. The company that sells them has them listed as Chrysler transmissions. I was always doing a search for Dodge NV 4500 5 speed. Go figure?

I'm south of you about 3 hours in Klamath Falls. My 74 EB is stripped down to just a rolling chassis now, but hope to have it back together to drive this summer. Where and when is this SOB or what ever it is called? Might just need a weekend trip. Scott

I will be on the look out in southern Oregon. Looks just like mine except mine has white flares on all corners. I dearly hope they can find the a$$ hole that stole it at de-tach some or all of there organs. That really sucks.
