    D30 drag link/track bar fit a D44??

The bolts couldn't have gotten mixed up b/c the bolt on the axle housing is stud on the housing itself. However, i never thought about mixing up the metal sleeves in the bushings %) . Im gonna pull it apart tomorrow, and take a gander. It is the JD 3.5 inch stage 2 kit- Anyone know if the...

    D30 drag link/track bar fit a D44??

Yeah, the ends are round and I replaced the bushings with the ones from the JD kit. I also reused the drive shaft... but i dont know if it was the original or not. There isnt alot of slop- meaning, i can't move it by hand, but if I look at the steering linkage when someone else moves the wheel...

    D30 drag link/track bar fit a D44??

I should probablly start a new thread, but... I replaced my 67D30 with a 76D44 and I retained the 67 tracbar. I also put a 3.5 inch lift kit on with a lowered bracket for the tracbar. I put all new urethane bushings on as well, and now when I turn the wheel there is slack in the bushing on the...

They are pretty nice guys. Mine quit working after the one year warranty was up, but they still sent me a brand new 6AL.

    Abolish Post Counts?

Yeah, but do they know about EBs or how to pad their post count like I just did?? %) Plus I don't give two sh*ts if they know (or pretend to know) a bunch about something in the offtopic lounge and its sub-forum. That was a serious joke. I just had a thought- maybe there can be a way to...

Finally- I Get my EB back (Well... at least for almost a week).

Well, I get to go back home for Thanksgiving today. So at least for almost a week, I get to drive my EB again. This is the first time that my EB was stored outside for a substantial time which was three months. What is a checklist I should perform, or what are some problems I might encounter...

Lighting Under the Bronco For Night Runs

It is the Decmeber Issue of Petersons 4x4 as mentioned above (but they also talked about the cameras and in dash GPS/DVD/ Guages Screen.). It was on their Tacoma. Pretty Cool Build Up.

    What's the best bang-for-the-buck HP/Torque Add-ons?

Why do think the MSD dist. are bad? I have their 6AL box, and pro-billet dist. and their blaster coil and wires. My box went out in less than a year, but they replaced it. This seems to be MSD's problem, the ign. boxes. Is there a notorious problem with their dist? ?:? Not to hijack- the whole...

What is the advantage of the "SS" coil versus their Blaster 2 coil? ?:?

    Shock Advice

I don't think he needs the F250 mounts. Those mounts are just an inexpensive way to fit a longer travel shock; from his description of what he does with his Bronco, I doubt he needs that much travel. The general consensus on the board is that the Bilstien 5100 series are the *best*- for the...

I wanna put a small block chevy in my 71

Why? Look at the weight difference. I can't see a significant advantage over a small-block v-8 with the 4BTs (except fuel economy), and the 6s weigh over a thousand pounds! A healthy 351 or 350 will still weigh half of one of the 6s. Although getting the 500 ft/lbs would a significant chore...

I wanna put a small block chevy in my 71

I say go for it. Look at all the hotrods out there. Ford bodies and SBC motors. The bronco in Petersons Ultimate Adventure, has a chevy motor/tranny combo backed with a klune/atlas. I've been wanting to find a 99 Vortech 5.7, and back it with a 700r4 just for the :o factor.

(Video) EB in "Driving Television"- Canadian tv show.

Me and the GF went to Toronto for the weekend to take advantage of the lower drinking age/ see the sights. Anyway, I was hungover watching "their" television shows, and inadverdtantly left it on their version of "Car and Driver". I caught the section on "extreme offroad driving", and they...
