    Being Broncoless....

I've been Broncoless for a year exactly. I dont know how long this will last, but I do know I will own another EB. I come here everyday and just lurk around. I Belong to "ClassicMako.com", "FordTruckEnthusiast", and "TheGarageJournal". All these sites are great, but THIS one is by far the best...

    Bronco Graveyard did me right!

The wrecker was one of those things you see on Ebay and say "Damn, thats badass, I've got to have it!" Usually I talk myself out of what ever "it" is.....not this time! I'm having a ball fixing it up. It had an add-a-leaf up front(3"). I put new 6" springs and 2.5" drop shackles, new wheels and...

    Bronco Graveyard did me right!

I havent posted here in a while...I sold my Bronco a few months ago. I still check in here at least once a day. I have joined a few other boards (Ford truck boards), but this one is still the best. The people here are all very helpful, and the whole "mood" here is great. I now own a '79 F150...

    Transport Companies

I just had this '79 F350 shipped from New Jersey to southern Va. It is just over 8ft tall. It has 37/14.50 swampers. I used CAR MOVERS USA. My contact was Patricia. She was great, she did everything she said she'd do. It cost me $700. Size was an issue, but she worked right thru it! Here is the...

Daily Driver can it be done?

I drove my 76' daily, 100+ miles a day for 2 years. I added A/C to make it more comfortable in the summer. It was a blast to drive! I got comments a thumbs up all the time. Drawbacks - gas mileage, not the best riding vehicle, but thats nothing compared to the thrill! I would look for a later(76...

New center console/seat available 10" wide!

I ran across this while surfing...scroll down about half way. Looks like it could work on an EB! Scroll down a little more, they have them w/TV's! A little pricey, but it looks cool! LINK: http://www.4autostuff.net/truckind.htm

    Superlift Q's about quality

I had that lift put on my '76. It was ok. It was a very rough ride, proly the add-a-leafs in the back. I also had the radius arm drop brackets, adjustable track arm , and went back to old style steering. If I was going to do it again, I try a different kit. If your thinking 5.5", just go for...

    Who makes these wheels?

They look like my wheels. Check out my gallery...the wheels on the truck, not the Bronco. They are Ultra Type 50/51 . I'm running 15x10 on the Truck. I'll try to post the link:http://www.ultrawheel.com/wheel_detail.cfm?brand=1&id=32

    new vintage looking slotted wheels?

These are pretty close, I found them in my new Summit catalog. Go to www.wheelvintiques.com, then to products, then cast alloy. You can find them on page 213 of the new Summit catalogue. Also check out the wheels I put on my F150, they are also very close to the vintage slots. They are Ultra...

    Hood mod for 351W installation?

I have always had Holley, the previous owner had an old Edelbrock, that I replaced with an Edelbrock Thunder Series, 650 Off Road. I did 90% driving on road, but the carb was great! Easy to adjust and re jet. The old carb was a single feed, Thunder is double. I was running 33" BFG All Terrains...

    Hood mod for 351W installation?

I would wait and see if you need to cut the hood. When I bought my 76' it already had a 351w in it. It fit fine with no cutting, no body lift. I did add a 2" body lift, and a hood bubble later, but not for hood clearance issues. The motor had a Elderbrock carb, w/ a performer intake. I used a...
