    C4 Problem

Thanks for the input. Hopefully it was just hot and puking out fluid, even though it did spit out over 2 quarts, it does seem to have stopped once I refilled it and it cooled off. I think I'll flush out the aux cooler just to make sure its not pluged, then maybe put on one of those deep...

    C4 Problem

Took the bronco out 4 wheeling on Sat. and about 5 mi into a trail I noticed ATF leaking out of the bellhousing. I only had one extra quart which bearly got me back to the highway before the fluid got too low for the tranny to work. To cut a long story, I got more fluid, refilled the tranny...

    Predator

Had one on a hopped up 460 in a '75 F250. Ran great on the street, but off road it didn't deal with bumps very well. It would load up and flood out very easily on the rough stuff, real annoying. It would probably work well for a mud racer or other full throttle application since its variable...

    Barry Grant Demon or Holley?

The Demon carb is the same as a holly but with all the little quirks fixed. I’ve got a 625 Road Demon in my Bronco on a slightly modified 302 w/ edelbrock performer package and headers. It makes good power and handles angles and bumps well after I got it leaned down enough for this altitude...

A come-a-long can be real handy too if you don't have a winch.

    Snow, beautiful Snow!

Nice Scout!! I think my Bronco will stay in the garage today, even though it would be fun to get out and play a little, I think I'll save it for the emergency crews. I was eyeing my YZ490 sitting next to the bronco with obvious thoughts about ripping around the neighbor hood.....nah, I better...

    anyone runnin DUFF

Anyone have Duff's extended radius arms? I'm wondering how they work compared to a wristed arm setup.

    used to have a CJ5

I think it depends on what type of dual shocks you use. They should be valved to work with another shock or have adjustable damping. I put dual shocks (ranchos) on my bronco years ago without really thinking it out and the ride was terrible, very rough. Maybe those Duff dual shocks work better?

    Dana44, re-gearing advice needed

I'm sure everyone already knows this but one thing to remember is that changing from 3:50 to 4:56 gears in a D44 requires a different carrier. So if you want a locker its a perfect time to put one in. I think from what you said that a LS would be the cheapest thing for your applicaton, it will...

New Bumper & Roll Cage (pics)

Couldn't tell from your pics, but how do the front bars run to the floor? I noticed that your glove box still opens just fine.

    vapor locking

My '69 never had a charcoal canister, so I put a plastic T - connector into the overflow hose that Howiebilt mentioned. If you have two tanks, just don't switch to the front tank until the rear is empty. Otherwise the return line will overfill the tank and gas will start pouring out of the...

    Donkey drops a gas tank!

Great story, glad everything worked out OK. If you have any other lose parts on your truck take a drive by my house, I can always use some spares ;D

TRyING TO CONVINCE MY PANRETS TO GET ME A BRONCO PLEASE HELP!

Just an idea, but why not get a Heep Wrangler to crash & trash for a few years. Once you get used to driving a short wheelbase top heavy vehicle, get a bronco and enjoy!

    vapor locking

Vapor lock can be a very frustrating problem, I felt like pushing the old Bronc of a cliff a couple of times when it stalled out on the trail right after I thought I had fixed the problem. I put in a holly electric pump, plumbed the lines similar to Waverous, but every time I drove trails in...

    Shift Collar Sleeve

g-money's right on. I took the collar off a 70's ford truck column and it fit perfectly. It was even the same color.

What would cause a Standard Tranny to be stuck in first?

I had a problem like this back when my EB had a 3-speed. One of the wire springs in the fist gear synchro broke and stuck out of the gear cluster. This kept the shift collar from sliding out of first gear. I ended up pulling the tranny, taking the cover off and removing the spring. The...

    blizzard 2003

I remember the good old days when it used to snow out here in Denver. Maybe some of you guys on the east coast could bring out a few dump truck loads so we can remember what snow looks like ;D

    Sealing oil drain bolt

I had the same problem, and ended up putting in an oversized plug. Its been through 10 yrs of oil changes now and is still sealing fine.

From what I’ve heard the Pull-n-Save has mostly late model stuff, so finding any EB parts there is probably a long shot. If your looking for some car seats or a tilt column to swap into an EB then they’ve got a wide selection for cheap. Unfortunately the junk yards here in the Denver are...

Two quick questions about doing rear main seal

I recently replaced a leaking pan gasket on my 302 with a one piece rubber gasket. Worked great and no need for RTV. Just somthing to consider, its part # MRG-6683 from summitracing.com
