thermostat housing LEAKS!!!!!

I had the same issue, over and over. I switched to one of those fancy chrome ones with the O-ring. Put a little Ultra Black on the ring and where the bolts go through, has never leaked again. Plus, you can replace the O ring if you ever need to.

Make sure your manifold is smooth and...

    steering with lockers in front

Yeah, we did the rubicon this past summer with no problems, worked great. I agree, it is hard to turn when it is engaged but not like you can't steer enough to get through the trail. I am just saying it is nice to be able to turn it off right away and have all your steering back at the top of...

Who makes the best C4 trans. pan??

The pan I got came with a new filter, a drop base for the filter and mounted right up. It had a hole for the dipstick already (on the top) which mine inserted right into. I think the price has gone up on these, Summitt shows 151 now for it. Email if you have more questions or need a...

Who makes the best C4 trans. pan??

I got a B&M deep pan from Summit, not bad I think around 100 with shipping. It holds 2 more quarts and has not leaked yet. Aluminum and with the extra capacity it helps keep the temp down a little. Everything helps.

    steering with lockers in front

ARB turned off right at the top of the hill, nothing like that for ease of use. I would love to see these people will full time lockers turn like they claim to do. I have been in these trucks and it sucks in my opinion.

    Qjet Electric Choke/Hard Start

Seems odd but my electric choke seems to be acting up after I did the wiring kit. It doesn't seem to close all the way. I adjusted it as far as I thought it could go. Is there any linkage adjustments I can make?

Thanks

31 splin in small bearing 9"? vs 28

If that isn't a technical explanation I don't know what is. Whatever it means, it makes me feel bette about speding the 250 bucks. ;D :D

31 splin in small bearing 9"? vs 28

Well the guy who had it done had a Bronco (John @ All 4 Wheel in Riverside) and he said his wore out after 10,000 miles. I belive it, small bearings with big tires and axles not meant for it but who knows. I took his advice and it is working like a charm now so that is all that matters I...

31 splin in small bearing 9"? vs 28

I am not sure either, except putting the 31 spline in with the bigger tires and keeping the small bearing wears them out quick. Just passing on what John at Currie said.

    Tachometer sticks at last reading...

I have an Autometer. Yes, if I cut the power it still sticks on the reading. If I turn the key to on, it goes to zero. Ok, I don;t feel so lame now. As long as it doesn't do anythign or draw power when the engine is off I am cool with it.

When I turn my engine off, the tach sticks at the last reading. It did not do this before, not sure what I hooked up wrong.

Power... on the back of the iginition switch
Ground... grounded to the dash, paint removed, seems ok
Dash lights... tapped into the dash lights wire...

31 splin in small bearing 9"? vs 28

I took mine into Currie and they chopped mine and converted it to the BB. If you run the 31 splines with the SB, you will be changing bearings about every 10k miles? This is what I was told from Currie so I decided to spend the extra $ and do it right. It can be done but as with anything...

    Centech Wiring... few glitches?

Yeah they have some conflicting instructions on there. I guess the addendum sheet is the one to use. I am going to use the intermittent switch. But I think it is strange I have no power to them when I turn the key to on, only when in ACC.
