    Reproduction/aftermarket parts

The place in NV is probably Glenn Lee in Fallon. I can't seem to find a current contact for him. There is also Bronco Connection in Nebraska, they part out quite a few. I don't know about the Idaho place but I would like too know who they are since I'm close.

    Reproduction/aftermarket parts

Jeff's has two grades of panels for some of the pieces. Some are Dennis Carpenter/OEM (or from OEM dies anyway) and some are Dynacorn aftermarket pieces. They don't have all of them in both grades but they have quite a few. I don't know what LMC carries. My experience has been that these...

    First time build

I like the unistrut frame, that's a cleaver way to keep it all square. It sure seems like a lot of work from where you are now but you will be guaranteed that its going to be like new when you get done. Did you get assembled inner and outer quarters or are you piecing it all together?

Build thread - The Bronco I always wanted...not!

Looks like you're starting with a good solid base. Good luck and enjoy yourself. That's going to be a really nice combination.

    Frame Off?

You're spot on, braces from the dash to the striker posts or bed rails are a very good idea. They are even more important if the floors are rotted out. It's a good idea to brace across the bed opening at the tailgate area too. These are pictures of what I use but a 2x4 bolted across the...

    351w value

$400 - $500 at a reputable salvage yard, if it is pulled and loaded in the back of your truck.

Parked 72 Bronco Hit by Drunk Driver. NOW WHAT?

Sorry for your loss. That's a nice rig. I would think you could successfully argue classic status with the insurance companies. You will probably need a lawyer but you can do it if you are persistent enough. The reality is the decision to repair is based on the perceived value of the...

    Topping Off

The last time I was in Oregon on my Harley they refused to fill it. They were afraid of the liability of scratching it. I have deduced it's just a low wage jobs program. They certainly aren't "specially trained".

EFI 170 6cyl - Can it Be Done?

You might want to contact EFI Guy about the possibility of modifying an OBDII V6 Explorer harness and computer for an L6. It could be a long shot but it's worth a try.

    Heater Blower wiring

There should be a brown wire (depending on your year, I suppose) from the fuse panel to the switch. The red wire goes from the switch to one side of the resistor. The Orange and the motor lead wire both go to the other side of the resistor. When the switch is on the high contacts the power...

    BC Broncos SL.... Thoughts

I run a 3.5" lift and I've trashed a few sets of rear leaf packs in my time. I have used 11 leaf and 5 leaf rears. The 5 leafs are a bit harsher ride on the street but they seem to be a lot tougher than the 11 leaf packs. I think the thicker leafs in the 5 leaf packs tend to resist deforming...

    Speaker mounting in the rear

We made them from 16 gauge. Made a paper template first and then went slow and careful with a cut-off wheel and a flapper disk. A jig saw with a good blade will cut the curves. They are powder coated black now but I can't find a picture of them completed anywhere.

    Speaker mounting in the rear

I think we couldn't get enough clearance between the bed rail and the top of the wheel well for the cone to miss the bed rail AND still get the speaker grill to fit. Obviously, this would be completely dependent on the grills on your speakers. We ended up going to the front end of the quarter...

    ZF without a body lift

Before I installed my doubler I ran my 351W with the ZF on stock lift and stock body mounts. It's possible but you have to have a very large hole in the tunnel. The hole needs to be long so there is room to install/remove the transmission without pulling the body. I just made a raised cover...

weight limit on original spare tire carrier

I hung a 35 off of my stock carrier for many years. It would occasonally pop open in Moab when things got twisty but I never had any problems with the body getting torn up. I finally built a new carrier mounted to the bumper and added a couple of gas can mounts. The new one rattles a lot less.

1 ton axle master cylinder advice

Pretty much all disk brake calipers require more fluid than drum brake cylinders. Are you upgrading from stock drums on all four corners or from stock disk/drums? If you don't have a booster you need to balance the fluid flow you need at the disks with the pedal effort you can live with. A...

    Ez wire harness question

I found a PDF I made of this page of my wiring diagram. The headlight switch and dimmer switch connectors are shown in the lower right hand corner. The colors I have listed might not match yours. For some of mine I'm using the Ford colors and some I'm using the EZ colors.
